Thanks for checking out my profile here at Lakewood Family Therapy! I know what it’s like to feel hopeless, and I know what it
is to abound in hope. My calling is to sit with those in pursuit of healing. It is a privilege to help others as they navigate through
their one wild and precious life.
My Story
The lies we believe the earliest are the ones that stick the longest. The battle for truth in my life began very early. Counseling is one of the instruments God has used to bring about healing in my life and an end to generational trauma. I know the courage and tenacity required to show up and do the work, being committed to truth. Although my story of suffering has been significant, it has not been wasted and Jesus continues redeeming my story for His glory.
I am training to be a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri through the Townsend Institute of Concordia University Irvine with an anticipated graduation date in August 2025. Although I use a variety of techniques, my counseling orientation is a dynamic psychoanalytic approach developing the character capacities of attachment, separation, integration, and adulthood. I enjoy working with individuals and groups, particularly adolescents, women, and adults recovering from trauma or adjusting to life changing events.
